  in 1995, when i was 11, i helped my parents after school at a restaurant (now demolished and a mcdonald's took its place) across the street from this church.
  
  one hot summer day in june, this girl (she was about 14-16 my 11-yo brain could surmise) in a prairie outfit comes over and asks if my friends and i would be interested in having "some fun." there would also be "singing," "bus rides" and a "pool party."
  
  that same weekend, we met up with her. we started with the singing to which i've never heard of. i was expecting some spice girls - say you'll be there and 2becomes1 or darude sandstorm. i'll even take some tupac gangster's paradise. NOPE.
  
  later that morning, we went for our "bus rides" which was nothing more than walk to the sidewalk lined with school buses. it was friggin' hot. and they wanted us to sit in a can of more heat? i shouted at the guy in his short sleeve dress shirt and tie, "what the hell is this place? you trying to kill us!? it's god dam hot as hell in here!" OOOHHHH he got mad!!!! "DO NOT USE GOD'S NAME IN VAIN!!!" ..........so much for "bus rides."
  
  and the creme de la creme that gives this place a one star rating: the "pool party." i don't remember if we brought our own swim trunks or they provided us with some. regardless, once we were all changed and ready to hop in the pool, it resembled a small jacuzzi with about 4 steps decorated in blue and white tiles........with an old man soaked in his wet white robe. "this was no pool party," i thought as i queued in line. the kids ahead of me didn't spend more than a minute in there.
  
  well, it was my turn. might as well get it over with..... i got in, creepy old man waiting for me, rested his hand on my back, told me to hold my nose and lean back into the water. that was it. that was the "pool party."
  
  and that was the end of the day.
  
  i was pretty upset that none of the fun things the girl in the prairie outfit said were anywhere remotely as she described when we first met. as the 11-year-old me, i still didn't know what to think of it. i never saw her again.
  
  you purposefully used one of your own, twist your words around to make sound innocuous as possible only to deceive and prey on the innocent, the young, the weak, the poor, the uneducated, the ignorant.

  This the best church I ever went to. I miss going there and I would like to come back to my church. I miss you pastor Ramirez and mrs. Ramirez.

  i love this church i been going to this church since i was a little girl and now i would love for my kids to see what a good church this is and do yall still have buses that comes to victorville...........
