  Starting as a primarily Japanese-American church after the second world war, Evergreen moved from its namesake street in East L.A. to Rosemead, then eventually grew to several churches and church plants. A good balance of spiritual experience and biblical teaching. Sr. Pastor Cory Ishida emphasizes strong bible study, worship, prayer and family priorities. Sports and kids programs. Multi-generational experience with newborns to octogenarians.
  I don't think there are any perfect churches or perfect people, but Evergreen continually tries to encourage people to seek and experience God
